Mentoring is a collaboration between a mentor and a student to nurture the student and prepare him/her for a future career. It is a great way to get answers to questions along the way, to grow your personality and develop your skills.
During process of mentorship a more experienced and knowledgeable person (mentor) shares their knowledge, experience, and advice with a less experienced person (mentee) to help them develop in their professional area. It is mutually beneficial relationship that can encompass various aspects of teaching, guiding, advising, and supporting.

Mykolas Romeris University hereby certifies with this digital badge that its owner has participated in mentorship program as a mentee and has developed the following competencies and skills:
Professional: obtaining specific knowledge related to the mentor's professional field.
Personal: self-awareness, emotional intelligence, self-confidence and self-control.
Communication: verbal and written communication, listening skills and the ability to express one's thoughts clearly.
Career planning: setting career goals, creating an action plan.
Networking: meeting new people and developing your professional network.
Problem Solving: Solving challenges and problems, finding creative and effective solutions.
Leadership: observing and adopting appropriate behavior patterns.
Responsibilities and commitments: discipline and self-control.
This badge could be initiated by the student but should be confirmed by an activity manager or coordinator. This badge also offers the possibility for the individual to provide additional evidence of participation or share their insights from the events.

Participate in the mentoring programme for at least 6 months and get a digital badge for the mentoring programme!

Share your impressions and be sure to add a short description of what character qualities, skills, knowledge or competences you developed and/or strengthened and/or received while participating in the mentoring program!
We look forward to your letter to karjera@mruni.eu with the note "MRU Mentorship".

The issuing of the badge can also be initiated by the activity manager.
