This badge is awarded for collaboration within international, intercultural teams to research and design educational activities or resources. This badge recognises an international teamwork experience for youth workers.
To earn the badge, the youth worker:
- shared responsibility with the team for the collective outcomes of the lab, from research through to the finished resource
- gathered and integrates input from colleague youth workers, external sources and their own experience into the team’s resource
- co-designed an educational resource or activity — including its learning content, resources and practical exercises — for other youth workers to use
- evaluated the team’s collaboration using the 3P framework (Product, Procedure, People) and identified key lessons from the international teamwork experience
This badge draws on the ETS-YW competence aspects of promoting communication and collaboration amongst team members, ensuring that knowledge and preferences in the team are shared, and allocating adequate resources and time to team building — from the Competence Model for Youth Workers to Work Internationally (ETS).
