ERUA Changemaker

Mykolas Romeris University confirms with this digital badge that the recipient participated as a volunteer in activities that contribute to the development and implementation of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) initiatives.
Digital Engagement Badges“ERUA Changemaker” formally acknowledges student participation including but not limited to event organisation, project involvement, student representation, working group participation, and support for international and intercultural initiatives.
By participating in ERUA activities, a student develops the following competencies and skills:
Organizational skills: activity planning, time management, work organization, and taking responsibility.
Problem-solving skills: finding and generating quick and appropriate solutions in various situations.
Networking: building new connections and expanding the professional network.
Social responsibility: proactivity, initiative, and civic engagement.
Personal growth: self-awareness and self-confidence.
Project design and implementation: developing project ideas, setting goals, planning activities, distributing roles within a team, and evaluating outcomes.
Facilitation and communication: leading workshops, moderating discussions, public speaking, and creating safe and inclusive spaces for dialogue.
Collaborative governance: participating in Local Board meetings, contributing to structured decision-making processes, negotiating ideas, and practicing democratic teamwork.
Intercultural competence: the ability to collaborate in multicultural environments, promote inclusivity, practice empathy, navigate cultural differences constructively, and contribute to respectful and open intercultural dialogue.
Tasks
Task no.1
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Students may be considered for the “ERUA Changemaker” Badge if they:
● Participate actively and reliably in ERUA‑related initiatives.
● Lead at least one workshop/lecture/seminar or event within the academic year during which the student holds membership in the ERUA Student Local Board (SLB).
● Participate in at least 50% of SLB meetings during their period of membership in the board.
● Support with participation at least 70% of workshops/lectures/seminars/events organised by other ERUA SLB members.
● Contribute to the planning, coordination, or execution of other ERUA activities or events (at least 2).
● Engage in roles that support ERUA’s strategic objectives, student involvement structures, or cross‑institutional collaboration.
● Demonstrate responsible conduct, adherence to ERUA values, and meaningful contribution to community‑building activities.

Final eligibility is determined based on documented participation and compliance with the activity‑specific requirements established by ERUA coordinators.
Badge Issuance Process:
1. Nomination or Application: Students may be nominated by ERUA activity coordinators or may apply independently where applicable.
2. Verification: Participation is verified by the responsible ERUA unit or coordinator, based on attendance, contribution records, or other forms of documented involvement.
3. Approval: MRU Career Center validates that the participation meets the prescribed criteria.
4. Issuance: The Digital Engagement Badge is issued through the designated digital credentialing platform and becomes available to the student for personal use.

The issuing of the badge can also be initiated by the activity manager.
