Tasks
Task no.1
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Make a plan with your coach about which tasks you will perform to gain control over the following skills:
  • evaluating the most suitable digital technologies for sharing information and content;
  • adapting my mediating role;
  • varying the use of the most effective methods for source and attribution.

Examples for developing these skills:
  • Let's say you have taken a photo that you would like to share with friends and family via social media. Before sharing it, it is necessary to decide which digital technology you will use to share the photo. There are different options, such as posting the photo on your Facebook or Instagram account, sharing it through a messaging app like WhatsApp or Telegram, or uploading it to a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • To choose the most suitable option, you need to consider factors such as the desired reach, privacy settings, and the type of interaction you expect to have with your audience.
  • For example, if you want the photo to be seen by as many people as possible, posting it on Facebook or Instagram may be a good option. But if you want to share the photo only with specific people, sharing it through a messaging app or cloud storage service may be a better choice.
  • When sharing the photo, you need to be aware of your mediating role as an intermediary. This means that you are responsible for the content you share and the impact it may have on others. For example, it is important to ensure that you have permission from any people featured in the photo before sharing it and that you do not post inappropriate or offensive comments.
  • Finally, it is important to use correct references and attribution when sharing content created by others. For example, if you share a photo taken by a friend, you should include their name and ask for their permission before sharing the photo.
  • By practicing choosing the most suitable digital technologies, being aware of your mediating role, and using correct references and attribution, you can improve your digital skills and communicate more effectively in digital environments.

But it doesn't stop there - increase the value of your badge by adding your learning process and achievements to your badge. This enables potential employers to gain a better understanding of your digital skills.
