Strategic by Design: Building Digital Youth Work Strategy

This badge recognises your commitment to developing an intentional and participatory digital youth work strategy. It is awarded to youth workers and youth work managers who explore the activity content and resources and demonstrate an understanding that digital transformation in youth work requires structured planning, co-creation, and a long-term vision.

This badge aligns with the SNAC Digital Competences Framework for Youth Work, particularly within the following competencies:
  • Availability of shared guidelines – contributing to structured and shared approaches to digital youth work development.
  • Creating reliable knowledge through digital means – using research, reflection, and evidence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Using digital tools to collaborate – engaging youth workers and young people in participatory and co-creative strategy building.

Earning this badge demonstrates your capacity to move beyond ad-hoc digital practices, base strategic development on shared understanding and evidence, and engage young people and colleagues in building sustainable, youth-centred digital youth work strategies.
